Duplicate Report Cards

Please contact the Office if you would like us to mail a duplicate report card home to a non residential parent.

Mentor Transportation Important Note

All students who live in the Mentor Ex Village school district are required to submit a Transportation Request form each school year. Mentor Transportation Department uses the forms to plan bus routes. If you plan on using Mentor bus transportation please submit your form to the school office. Forms are due by May 1st.

Chess Club - Last Meeting - NEW

The last meeting for the Chess Club will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Spring Band Concert - NEW

It's Concert Time! Please note that the concert is on a Tuesday.



Students should arrive by 6:15 to warm up

4-6th grade students should wear dressy clothes. No jeans or shorts please.

7th-8th grade students should wear jazz band attire: jeans, white dress shirt and tie.

Concert starts at 7PM and will end by 8:15.

Concert is a requirement for all band students.

Students will perform for school on Arts Day, May 25th. Time TBD

We are excited to report latest returns for our Walkathon, moving Full STEAM ahead! We have so far reached a total of over $36,000, which is almost 1/2 of the way to our goal of $75,000!! Thank you Grizzlies!!! Keep getting the word out, share our needs and our goal with whoever you can! Your sharing words make a huge difference!

As we move closer toward our STEM Designation credential from the Ohio Department of Education, the Walkathon will greatly help us raise the funds for resources and equipment to enhance student's project-based learning and collaboration.

These include such things as robotics, 3D printers, other technology and programmable devices and Maker Space supplies, and collaborative student desk furniture. We are also going to upgrade the stage area lighting, which will increase stage usage for integrating performing arts into STEAM projects.

Session 1: June 27 - July 1 - $130 fee

Session 2: July 5-8 (4 day camp) - $104 fee

Incoming 2nd graders - 8th graders

Creative Writing Camp

Attention Creative Writers….

Are you ready to take your creative writing skills to the next level? Then our summer 2016 creative writing camp is perfect for you!!


  • Students entering 5th through 8th grade
  • (8 minimum/15 maximum students per session)


  • 9:30 to noon (mark preference of dates below)
  • June 27th to June 30th, 2016 or July 11th to July 15th, 2016
  • *The Friday of each of week will be an optional/catch up day to complete publishing if needed

  • Engage in a variety of creative writing activities and publish your own book
  • The cost of the camp is $110.00 made payable to Natalie O’Neill.
  • All campers will receive a book of published writing when we return to school in August.

National Junior Honor Society Project

We are partnering with SOHI River Arts to make tied fleece blankets for the pediatric unit at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. We are asking for donations of fleece or money to purchase fleece.


The nurses in the pediatric unit love to give blankets to patients, and the children LOVE to receive them. Although blankets are not distributed to all patients, supplies have run out. The only blankets they have are provided by the nurses and they can’t do it all!


Have your child pick a quilt square!!

All donations of $5.00 (purchases 1 yd. of material) or more receive recognition on the Comfort For Kids display board by the school office.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist in the planning and implementation of the 2016 Young Author's and Artist's Night at St. Gabriel School. YAYA celebrates the literary and artistic endeavors of our students through an evening of fantastic performances, presentations, and an art auction/basket raffle to raise funds to support the arts.
