HFCS Pays Respect To Our Veterans
A Message From Our Principal
Today’s Holy Family Catholic School Veterans Day Assembly was a beautiful tribute to the military men and women who have honorably and selflessly served our country. Navy Operational Support Center Executive Officer Jason Datinguinoo, proud dad of students Lily and Ellie, spoke of his service to our country this morning. Mr. Sergio Villarreal, proud dad of Adriana, also spoke of how formative his Navy experience was in shaping his life. Grand Knight Villarreal and several Knights of Columbus veterans presented HFCS with new American and Texas flags. Mrs. Wetmore’s third grade students led a very meaningful closing prayer. Our Hornet Band was outstanding – kudos go to Ms. Kathy Bernal and her band students!
After our Veteran’s Day Assembly the students gathered in Pemberton Library to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the repose of the soul of alum Ryan Cussick, for his family, and for his friends at Nolan Catholic. Let our continuous prayers be a balm of healing for those who are grieving the loss of Ryan. Ryan's funeral will be on Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Parish.
As of today, only 24 people have responded to the HFCS survey: please answer two simple but important questions to help us understand what is GREAT about our school and what needs improvement. I want to know what you think - let your voice be heard! Your answers will be anonymous unless you wish to share your name. Your thoughtful answers will help guide our strategic planning goals and marketing strategies. I will share the results with you at a HFCS evening event in January, date TBD. Here is the link to the anonymous survey: https://forms.gle/18wEs5FWAERrQuVc8

Holy Family, Pray for us!
Blessings,
