Undergraduate teaching assistants embedded in Writing I courses
The English Department's composition program seeks smart, strong writers to serve as classroom assistants for spring 2016 sections of ENGL 1010 (Writing I). These embedded teaching assistants will attend class meetings and, under the instructor's supervision, support teaching and learning by working individually and in small groups with students during class.
Compensation for undergraduate teaching assistants is $10/hour.
Qualifications and Deadlines
- Applicants must be TTU undergraduate students who have earned an A in ENGL 1010 (or tested out).
- Applicants must be able to attend an initial meeting at 11am on the first day of the spring semester (11-11.50 on Tuesday, January 19, in HEND 308).
