Workshop Description:
Developing and implementing an Individualized Educational Plan, or IEP, is the equal responsibility of educators, parents, and other members of the IEP team. This workshop explains the many components of an IEP to empower parents, guardians, and caregivers to maximize their child’s opportunities for academic success while keeping the student's education, and IEP Team, on target.
Join us in this workshop as we learn:
• The six (6) Principals of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
• The Top Eight (8) Components of an IEP
• The Seven (7) Steps of the Special Education Process
• Tips and Strategies for Success
