LES TIGER TALK
Loveland Elementary School eNewsletter September 16, 2022
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Another great week is in the books at LES! Thanks to everyone who helped support our first Dine & Donate of the year at Tender Towne, and thanks to Tender Towne for their ongoing support of LES!
Today marks the kick-off for our LEPTA Dance-a-Thon fundraiser. The LEPTA is a phenomenal organization that supports all of our Tigers in grades K-4, and we truly appreciate all that they do for our schools! Students will be bringing home a flyer with more information in their backpacks today. Any support will be greatly appreciated!
Next Wednesday is GO GOLD for Kids with Cancer Day. Please wear gold, yellow or orange to help Grant's Wolf Pack raise awareness for childhood cancer! Gold was chosen as the official color for childhood cancer awareness and represents how precious children are and the resiliency of childhood cancer heroes.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Jennifer Forren
LES Principal

Loveland City School District Earns 5-Star Report Card - Performance Places District in the Top 2% in Ohio
Loveland City School District is excited to announce the results of the 2021-2022 Ohio School Report Card. The district scored a 5-star rating in every category.
“This is a tremendous achievement for Loveland City School District, and a testament to the hard work of our students and their families, and the outstanding support offered by our outstanding staff,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
Loveland City School District earned five stars in every component of the Ohio School Report Card, including Achievement, Early Literacy, Gap Closing, Graduation Rate, and Progress. Loveland City School District is only one of 12 districts across the state of Ohio to earn all five-star ratings, placing the district in the top 2% in Ohio.
“Two goals of our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision are student success and fiscal responsibility. Being able to achieve at a high level while keeping a close eye on the bottom line is further evidence that we are delivering a fantastic educational value for our Loveland City Schools community. We look forward to their continuing support,” Broadwater said.
