Math 24 club

Arrowhead started a new after school learning club this year called math 24. Groups of students receive a card with four numbers on it. Students can achieve the number 24 exactly using only allowed operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses) the first player that arrives at 24 using the allowed operations with the numbers shown on the card wins the hand. Thank you Mrs. Pashley for facilitating this new club.

Arrowhead Alumni Update and Kind Gesture for Covid 19 patients

Former Arrowhead student, Julie Prager, has asked for assisstance with a project to help cheer up and support hospitalized Covid 19 and other seriously ill patients who are not allowed to have visitors. Julie and her brother Stephen both attended Arrowhead; her mother, Sue Prager, is a retired Arrowhead and Eagleville teacher; and her father, Barry Prager, was a music teacher and principal at Methacton High School.

Julie is now an ER doctor in South Carolina working with Covid 19 and other seriously ill patients. She is asking for homemade get well cards that the doctors and nurses can laminate and hang in patients' rooms. The cards need to be made on a flat piece of printer paper, construction paper, or poster board no larger than 8 1/2 X 11 inches. The card can be a simple get well message with a colorful picture. Letters can be mailed to Julie at the address below, and she will distribute them to three hospitals with which she is affiliated.

Pass/Fail Communication

Arrowhead families,

See the PDF attachment below with information and communication regarding pass/fail for the 4th marking period.

Student email changes

Arrowhead families,

Technology changes have been made to our students’ email to allow an email notification to go through when an assignment is returned to the student with comments/remarks from the teacher. This was previously disallowed in an effort to protect from unwanted SPAM and other content. The district has designed email from the Google classroom ONLY to help students receive teacher feedback through this application.

Google classroom attendance reminders:

As a general reminder, students are required to login using MyMSD and then their respective google classrooms on a daily basis during scheduled school days. Student attendance login is required by 12 noon daily.
