"Garrett has averaged 14.7 ppg. 5.3 reb, and 2 assists over our last three ballgames," OHS Head Basketball Coach Mark Schweitzer said. "His spark has helped our team go 5-1 in our last six games and that is why he is selected for our Athlete of the Week."
Congrats Garrett!
This week OHS Senior Alexis Solomon has been selected as an Athlete of the Week! Alexis is a key player on the OHS Girls' Basketball team and is a high scorer according to OHS Girls Basketball Head Coach Brandon Clift.
"Alexis is a leader by example. She consistently does the little things right. I appreciate her work ethic and her willingness to do what is needed for the team," Clift said. "Alexis is a capable scorer and has had several big games for us offensively this year, scoring 66 points over a 3 game stretch earlier this month."
Congrats Alexis!

6 OHS Girls Wrestlers Qualify for State
"These girls helped start the program last year and were all first year wrestlers. Watching all the girls on the team grow and mature has been extremely fun and rewarding to say the least," Head Wrestling Coach Tod Sundlie said. "However, for these 6 girls to perform at such a high level under a tremendous pressure this past weekend, in only their second year in the sport, was extremely impressive and certainly a resemblance of all their hard work."
The six qualifiers are: Sophomore Addi Hoelzle, Senior Tori Dunn, Junior Alyvia Myers, Sophomore Maelynn Sundlie, Senior Claire Wheeler, and Senior Cami Cazier. They will travel to Columbia later this month to compete in the State Championship.
OHS JROTC Rifle Team Places 2nd & 3rd in Nation at National Competition
