Boosterthon Update

WE DID IT! We completed our first Boosterthon Fundraiser Event. Even though this has been an unusual year we were still successful. Our Main Event was so much fun. Our K-2 students had a blast and our 3rd-5th grade students had fun too, even though they were so laid back trying to be cool.

HUGE SHOUTOUT to our students' parents, families, friends, businesses and organizations for helping raise money to support Partee. Below are a few stats from the event. Prior to the event beginning, I promised the students that if we reached our goal of $10,000 they could duct tape me to the wall. Well, it looks like I have to keep that promise. Thank you again for your help.

Final Pledge Stats:

The Library will also be getting a face lift this month. As a result, curbside library, holds pickup, and regular circulation will be unavailable from Monday, April 26th through Friday, May 7th. Don't despair! The Online Research Library (located in the student portal) has a great selection of eBooks to choose from and the Centerville Public Library is a great resource for books and eBooks alike.

Please continue to check the GCPS website to review the most updated information regarding DLD guidelines. The school will also continue to communicate through emails, Class Dojo, and our website.

Clinic Information

Taveling outside the U.S. this spring break?

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) follows guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding international travel.

The CDC recommends that all international travelers get tested three to five days after returning AND self-quarantine at home for seven days after travel.

So, what does that mean for travelers?

Travelers who test positive must isolate based on current guidance for a confirmed case.

Even travelers who test negative should self-quarantine at home for the full 7 days. In other words, students and staff who travel outside the U.S. will not be able to return to school or work for at least 7 days after their return to the U.S. However, during quarantine, students are required to continue logging in to school Digitally.

Travelers who choose not to be tested should self-quarantine at home for a full 10 days after travel.

During self-quarantine, make sure to monitor for symptoms. If symptoms develop, seek testing immediately and follow guidance for a suspected case.

For more about travel guidelines, visit the CDC website at
