Welcome back! The entire Team Success (TS) staff hopes that you and your family are doing well during these unprecedented times. All of us are excited and delighted that your child will be attending TS this upcoming school year.

I am writing you to share some important information and dates with you. Please read this newsletter in its entirety.

Following the guidelines from Governor DeSantis, Education Commissioner Corcoran, and the Manatee County School District, Team Success will offer two instructional models until further notice. Both options deliver rigorous instructions aligned to Florida State Standards. Grading expectations and grading scales are the same for the two options:

1. Traditional learning in the classroom - Students come to school, 5 days a week
2. Remote, live virtual learning - Students log in from home and following live lesson, 5 days a week.

Both instructional models require the student to:

• follow either option for at least one quarter (9 weeks), unless there are certain circumstances that require a change
  
• abide by the Code of Conduct
• attend school daily , following class/grade level schedule, and assigned courses
• complete assignments and homework
• participate in school, district-, and statewide assessments

IMPORTANT:

In the past 3 weeks, you should have received a phone call from one of our staff members regarding your instructional model preference. If you have NOT spoken to anyone at the school yet, please do so by calling the office.

Just like every year, Team Success will hold an OPEN HOUSE and a Title I presentation. Please see the flyer below for detailed information and RSVP. We are excited to see you and your child.

The safety and health of all students, their families, and our staff members are very important to Team Success.The school has implemented health and safety guidelines in the effort to keep everyone healthy, e.g. random temperature checks, social distancing. Every person on campus and on the school bus has to wear a mask and/or face shield at all times unless he/she has a medial reason (doctor's note required).

Though Team Success and its agents will work hard to implement and abide by those guidelines, neither the guidelines themselves nor even guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) would allow Team Success to guarantee an environment that is entirely free of COVID-19 related risks.

By allowing your child to return to campus for in-person instruction, you acknowledge and understand that your child’s attendance will require him/her to physically interact with the school’s staff members and other students. As such, despite reasonable mitigation efforts on behalf of Team Success, physical interaction with the public at large may pose some unavoidable risks to you, your child, and your family due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every parent of a student attending Team Success in person has to sign and submit the COVID-19 Release Form. Please follow the link below:

Classes start at 9 am. Breakfast will be served until 8:40 am.

Below are the supply lists by divisions. Please note that every student needs his/her own supplies to class as we won’t be sharing any materials with classmates.

Every online student is also required to get the same supplies. Thank you!
