Registration Referral Fee

We are excited to announce that thanks to generous donors, Gilbert and Dee Dee Garcia, any current Corpus Christi Catholic School family, alum or parishioner is eligible to receive a referral fee of $500 for referring a new family to Corpus Christi Catholic School who enrolls at least one child during the 2019-2020 school year!

* The referred family and their child must meet all admissions requirements for Corpus Christi Catholic School.

* The referral fee of $500 will be disbursed on December 1, 2019 considering that the new family is still enrolled in CCCS.

* Disbursements will be made by either applying to current family’s tuition or check payable to referring family.

* The referral fee applies on a new per family basis; not new, per student basis (one referral fee of $500 if family registers four children or one child).

Archdiocesan Elementary Science Fair

Corpus Christi Catholic School is proud to once again host the Archdiocesan Elementary Science Fair this Thursday, March 21st. Please be aware that we are expecting close to 200 participants, so the main parking lot will be busy during morning drop off. CCCS parents are encouraged to use the circular drive for morning arrival of elementary students. Safety patrol students will be on hand to greet and assist the younger students. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mass with the Parish

All families are encouraged to join us as we celebrate Mass with our Parish community this Saturday, March 23rd at 5:00 p.m. CCCS students are asked to wear their Mass uniforms. A jeans pass for Monday, March 25th, will be awarded to all who obtain Father Tom's signature on their bulletin. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Lenten Fish Fry Service Opportunity

Middle School Scholars may earn service hours by assisting the Knights of Columbus during the Fish Frys this Lenten season. Students are asked to arrive to Prefontaine Hall by 5:00 p.m. wearing a Colt t-shirt and blue jeans. A parent must be present with the students at all times. The scholars will be considered as "runners" and will bring in trays of fish and fries from the back to the kitchen. Clean-up assistance is also needed from 7:15 to 8:00 p.m.

Scholars are reminded to bring their Service Hours Log for a signature.

Why is Lent for 40 Days?

The Lenten duration of 40 days is practiced in imitation of the 40 days Jesus was in the desert.

"Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. He fasted forty days and forty nights and afterwards he was famished." (Matthew 4:1-2)
