Watch demonstrations of center building, and see examples of centers already created.
Work your way through math instructional centers that promote the Mathematical Practices of the CC Mathematics Standards.
Experience fun and engaging lessons and understand how they align with practices and standards.
Understand how to assess student progress through center participation.
Go back to work with lessons that you can use on Monday!
About the Presenter
Betty EricksonBetty has been a math teacher and coordinator, and is now a consultant and presenter for many programs and schools, in New Hampshire and beyond. She is an Intel Mathematics Instructor, First Steps in Mathematics Facilitator, and has assisted for the past few years in implementing Common Core Math Practices as part of SERESC projects. Betty’s educational background includes: C.A.G.S., Boston University, Boston, MA Curriculum and Instruction; and ABD, Mathematics Education, Boston University.

Cancellation should be made in writing. A full refund will be made for cancellations postmarked, or sent via email, 7 days before the event.
No refunds will be given for requests received after 7 days before the event, or for "no shows". We do accept substitution of another person at our conference. 24 hours of notification is appreciated.
All received registrations are subject to Cancellation/Refund policy. Cost of registration fee is still liable whether payment is paid or unpaid, if no notice of cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the event.
If minimum requirement enrollment is not met prior to the early registration deadline, the event may be postponed or canceled.
