SATs
Please see the notes below from Sonia and Erica
Things to keep in mind:
*Grade levels need to communicate as a team-
-who is on Tier 2 & 3 and what subjects
-who they are looking at moving to Tier 3 and the subject
*We need to look at ALL students K-5 who need Tier 3 and see how many that is. There are only so many spots Sonia and I have; if some teachers are low in Tier 2 numbers then maybe some Tier 2 groups can be combined so that a teacher can do a Tier 3 group for that grade level.
*Multiple sources of data need to be present:
-Acadience Reading/Math (Sonia & Erica will start MOY testing when we come back from Thanksgiving)
-Guided Reading Levels & iStation
-Grades
*If we refer any Tier 3 kids for testing they need to remain getting Tier 3 services until their ARD date.
*Teachers need to be aware if they receive other services (ex: speech, dyslexia) and the times they get those services. Those services must come first so students might be pulled at another time than RTI.
*Please include in your notes whether or not students are making progress towards their BOY goal if you don't have enough data points.
*Misconception- Kids do not have to be Tier 3 for both subjects to get referred.
