Two separate opportunities to join in MISSION + FUN

Zion youth are off to serve and have fun together in the Cities! There are two events: one in July, the other in August!

July Day of Mission

Monday, July 15th 2013 at 7am-11pm

1 Valleyfair Drive

Shakopee, MN

Feed My Starving Children + Valleyfair

7am: Meet at Zion
9:15am: Arrive to serve at Feed My Starving Children
11:45am: Grab Lunch
12:30pm: Head to Valleyfair!
5pm: Dinner in the park
9pm: Leave Valleyfair
11pm: Arrive at Zion

Cost? $50 including lunch (Dinner is on your own in the park. Note: we can't accept Valleyfair coupons to reduce the price)

Who can go? Any 5th-12th grader (and friends!)

How many people can come? Only 10. We have to keep our numbers small for reasons related to transportation and serving at FMSC.

How do I sign up? Turn in $50 to the youth office by Wednesday, July 10th. Before we leave, we also need you to: have a current Zion Medical Release form on file and fill out a Zion Youth Release Form for this event.

What should I bring? Closed-toed shoes, money for dinner and fun in the park, your swimming suit (if going to the water park) , sunscreen, a heart that's ready to serve God bright and early in the morning!

August Day of Mission

Monday, Aug. 19th 2013 at 6:30am-8pm

Minneapolis, MN

Bethlehem Lutheran Church + Twins VS Mets

6:30am: Meet at Zion
8:30am: Arrive at Bethlehem Lutheran, St Paul to help with their food program Jesus Delivers
12:30pm: Head to Twins Game (Lunch on their own)
1:10pm: Let's Play Ball!
4:30pm: Escape Minneapolis Traffic
5pm: Grab dinner (included) and eat at Minnehaha Falls
6pm: Leave Minneapolis
8pm: Arrive in Stewartville

Cost? $50 including dinner (lunch is on your own at Target Field)
