And...we're back!
Dr. Marty Spence, High School Principal

Orientation (Freshmen and New Students)
Willow Springs High School
Reopening Info
At the high school, we will have custodial staff sanitizing public areas throughout the day. Students will use hand sanitizer as they enter and leave classrooms, which have been arranged to allow for maximum social distancing within the facilities we have available. We will remind students throughout the day to maintain as much distance as possible and to move through hallways quickly, without congregating for long periods. Lunch will be served in the classroom.
Neither students nor staff are required to wear masks, but we do encourage it, as it is recommended in current CDC guidelines. We will do our very best to keep our students and staff healthy and safe, and we ask for your support and cooperation as we navigate these difficult times.
If you would like more information on the Distance Learning option outlined in the Reopening Plan, please contact building principal Dr. Spence at spencema@wspgs.com or (417) 469-2114 ext. 300. Building offices will be fully open from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. beginning Monday, August 10.
Building Access for Parents/Guardians
If you need to meet with a teacher or administrator, you may do so in person or virtually, by appointment. We ask that every effort be made to schedule these meetings after school, but we will do our best to accommodate meetings when the parent's/guardian's schedule does not allow an after-school meeting. To schedule the meeting, you may contact the staff member directly by email or call the building office to be forwarded to the staff member's voicemail.
We appreciate your cooperation as we put these temporary procedures in place during the duration of the current pandemic. We look forward to the day we can fully open the building to outside visitors again.
