Welcome Back Friends of the Library
It's going to be a GREAT year!!
Welcome back and hope you had a wonderful summer filled with lots of family, friends, traveling, reading, and creating ~ oh and one of my favorites ~ relaxing!
As we start a new school year, with many new faces, I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the resources available to you from the library. I want you to be connected to the library no matter where you are.
This year I did this a little different. I have created this Smore which contains information about our print and digital collections and ways to connect to the library's voice like Twitter and Facebook. I also wanted to present this page to you as an example of something you might consider doing with your students or maybe a newsletter you want to send out to parents about your classroom. Smore helps you create amazing pages that you and your students would be proud to share. It is quick, easy, and FREE!
Under each picture or text, there will be a link that will take you to the right place.
And at the very bottom, you will find my information. Please feel free to contact me anytime through Twitter, my cell phone, email...whatever works for you.
You are always welcome in our library and I encourage you to come by anytime.
Have an amazing year NGC!
And remember...
You will make a difference!

Ideas for Library/Classroom Collaboration
Here are some ideas (and proven favorites) for library/classroom collaboration projects! Glogster, Animoto, Edmodo, and edcanvas.com
If you are not familiar with some of these, that's ok ~ we can meet together and discuss how your project will look using these resource tools. Remember any collaboration project will take planning time to implement so plan a few weeks ahead if wanting to use the library for a collaborative project. Students really like to use these resources and can create some great products.
