Meet the Finalists at the Superintendent Candidates Virtual Forum

Thursday, Feb. 25th, 5:30-8:15pm

This is an online event.

The superintendent candidate forum, originally scheduled for this evening has been rescheduled due to severe weather resulting in widespread power outages and airport closures across the country.

After completing an extensive multi-state search, the Klamath Falls City Schools Board of Education is pleased to announce that two finalists have been selected from a field of 14 applicants for further consideration to be the next Superintendent of the Klamath Falls City Schools district.

During an executive session on January 26th, consultants from the superintendent search firm, HYA, presented the slate of applicants to the Board of Education along with detailed background information on each. The board selected five candidates who most closely matched the selection criteria and leadership profile established by the board, district staff and community.

Following two days of interviews the first week of February, the board narrowed the field down to two finalists; Jeff Bullock, Curriculum Director of the KCSD and Keith Brown, retired Superintendent of Taylor Independent School District in Taylor Texas (as of 2/1/2021) and President of KB Consulting, a small private firm specializing in primary/secondary education, school district operations, as well as school law and finance.

Members of the community are invited to meet both candidates during two virtual public forums on February 25, 2021. Mr. Brown's forum will be from 5:30 - 6:45 PM and Mr. Bullock's will be from 7:00 - 8:15 PM.
