BOOK SWAP - BRING IN BOOKS BY MAY 24th!!
WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF DONATED BOOKS FOR OUR SUMMER BOOK SWAP!!
Does your child have a pile of books sitting in their room that they have already read? Do you wish you had the opportunity to exchange them for more exciting summer reading materials?
The Book Swap is for you!
From Wednesday, May 15th – Friday, May 24th students may bring in 2-5 “gently used” books to the Library Media Center for donation.
Beginning in June, students will have the opportunity to browse books during their scheduled library media time. Students will participate in a special “campfire” swap where each student will take home two books. At this time we will also review local summer reading programs and resources with students!
Please make choices carefully when selecting books to donate. Books will only be accepted under the following guidelines:
- Books must be appropriate for K-5.
- Donations should be on grade level with the student donating them
- Example: 5th grader donates a book another 4th/5th grader would enjoy!
- Books with coloring or writing in them will not be accepted.
- Coloring books, activity books, and sticker books will not be accepted.

Splash into Summer Food Drive
Collection Dates: Monday, May 20 – Friday June 7
The CS Student Council is sponsoring a Summer Food Drive to help restock the Cherry Hill Food Pantry and the South Jersey Food Bank! The items will help fill their shelves for families during the long summer months. As many of you know, hunger does not break for summer vacation. We are hoping to supply our local food banks with some much needed food for children to enjoy over the hot days of summer.
Suggested items include, but are not limited to:
- Cereal & Pancake mix
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly (Strawberry & Grape)
- Granola Bars
- Juice Boxes
- Fruit snacks
- Canned Tuna, Chicken, Vegetables
- Canned Goods
- Anything else for children!
- Crackers w/peanut butter or cheese
- Fruit cups
- Pudding & Jello
- Pasta & Sauce
- Mac & Cheese
- Snack packs
- Trail mix
- Shelf stable milk
- Soups/Chili (pop tops)
