Weekly Wellness Newsletter
How are you all holding up during the school closure?
Welcome to WVHS Mindful Monday! (week of April 19-25, 2020)
We are sure you, like all of us, were not expecting the school to close for the remainder of the school year! This can be met with mixed reviews. Some may feel happy to be home and others may be missing the connection with friends, teachers and school. This weekly newsletter is designed to help you manage some of the emotions and boredom you may be experiencing during this time.
Message from our Principal
I know that these are unprecedented times with many uncertainties. I also know that this year has not turned out the way many of you hoped - especially for our seniors. Please know that the feelings you are having are okay and we are here to support you. It is understandable to be angry, upset, confused, and/or scared. Nothing we do can change the current situation; however, it is important to remember that this moment does not define you. You are bigger than this moment and have so much in front of you. Keep your head up, know that we love and support you, and know that we will emerge from this as a community stronger and more able than before. Stay safe and take care...it is still a great day to be a MUSTANG!
Warmest Regards,
Ms. Cahoon
