6th Grade Registration
2023-2024
WHO?
This information is for Hedgcoxe 5th Graders to transition to 6th Grade.
TRANSFERS:
If you do not plan on going to Hendrick, we will get you more information as it comes. All 5th-grade students will register as if they are attending Hendrick and schedules will be changed when and if transfers are granted. If you anticipate going to another middle school, it would be best for you to reach out to that school in order to be included in their email communications as we do not always get included for schools other than Hendrick.
***Even if you do not plan on attending a Plano ISD middle school, we will ask that you fill out our Google Form for registration so that we have your information just in case.***

Fine Arts:
Your student will only be choosing between Choir, Band, Orchestra, Art, and Theater. If your child chooses Band or Orchestra, they will not be selecting their instrument at this time. Instrument selection will occur later in the spring and is done by the middle school music directors.
Pre-Athletics:
This is a course designed to equip and prepare any student who wishes to eventually enroll in 7th and 8th-grade athletics. Students will learn the fundamentals of strength and conditioning, dynamic stretching, health and nutrition, and sport-specific skills. Students will also learn what is expected of a PISD athlete.
