Makerspace Mondays
Last Monday of the Month at Montgomery Library
What are Makerspace Mondays?
The last Monday of every month, the Montgomery Library will host different activities for Lower School students. Whether its building Lego towns, hand knitting scarves, or making a musical instrument out of bananas, Makerspace Mondays will give students a chance to explore the world together.
Makerspace events will be held in the Lower School Learning Commons the last Monday of every month from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Snacks are not provided. Students will meet in the Montgomery Library's Lower School Learning Commons at 3 PM.
Mrs. Young, the Lower School Library Assistant, and also some of the other library staff will be guiding students each week through the activities. Some days, there will be a parent volunteer teaching a new skill.
Due to space and supply restraints, we are limiting the number of participants to 10. Please e-mail Christine Young (youngc@greenhill.org) to register your child.
Please let Extended Day know if your child plans on attending Makerspace Mondays prior to the event. Students will need to be picked up at 3:30 PM in the Lower School Learning Commons.
