GCPS Makes Calendar Adjustments for 2nd Semester

Gwinnett County Public Schools has made adjustments to this year’s calendar, affecting 2nd semester. The district will add an additional day of teacher planning at the beginning of the semester, which means students will return from winter break on January 7.

The second adjustment calls for the addition of four digital learning days during the semester (January 26, March 2, March 16, and April 20). These dates will be learning days where all students will learn from home, providing teachers additional days for planning during the semester. You will receive additional information about these days and your students' assignments from your local school. The updated calendar (as well as the calendar for the 2021-2022 school year) is available on the school district website.

LOOKING AHEAD

12/21- 1/6 - Winter Break

1/7 - Students return to school

1/18 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Student/Staff Holiday

1/26 - Digital Learning Day - All Students
