Does your company match your contributions to PTO? Double your donation!

Corporate matching is a program offered by many employers where the employer will match any contributions made to a non-profit organization. Since Big Creek Elementary School PTO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the donations made to our fundraisers (Fall Write-a-Check fundraiser and Spring Read-a-Thon fundraiser) may qualify for a corporate match from your employer. This program can double your donation. This is one of the easiest ways to provide extra funds to our school’s PTO

.

Once you have made a donation to BCES PTO, please check with the HR department of your company and ask if they have an employee matching/donation program. We appreciate you taking five minutes of your day to possibly double your donation to our school. You will need the following information to complete your match:

Shaping Minds in more ways than one

For six years, Shaping Minds has made a difference in the lives of children with its afterschool program and camps. The goal at Shaping Minds is helping students ‘Build Character for a Lifetime.’ That’s why they love to see our Big Creek students not only succeed but soar!

“The best part about being a Partner in Education is how gratifying it is to be making a difference in the lives of children,” said Coach Alok Kataria of Shaping Minds. “We feel proud when we see improved confidence in our students, and we love to see them do well in academics, sports and other areas!”

Shaping Minds offers the following programs for Big Creek families:

· After school program: Students are sure to have a good time with classes such as karate, yoga, robotics, dance, basketball, soccer, hockey and leadership & character education.

· Fall Break Camp (Sept. 24-28): This camp is a perfect way for kids to learn about various sports and have an amazing time with camp games and fun activities.

· Day Camps: When school is not in session, Shaping Minds offers awesome day camps to keep students learning and having fun.

· Summer Camps: Summer camps start the very next day after the school ends and continue until the school starts back after the summer. In addition to all the classes during summer camps, Shaping Minds also provides weekly field trips.

· Birthday Parties: Let Shaping Minds host your child’s next birthday party. Themes to choose from include Karate, Tumbling for Fun and Gladiator Jousting Ring

“We love being able to have a positive impact on our community,” said Coach Al. “Our partnership with Big Creek helps us maximize that impact by reaching out to more parents and students than we could on our own.”
