Important Information:

1. Prize Box is ALMOST EMPTY

We have almost run out of prizes in our prize box! This makes me a happy teacher because it means that my students are earning signatures for their great choices and behavior! However, it also means we need more prizes! Please send in prize box donations if you are able.... I would GREATLY appreciate it, and I know your 2nd graders would be thrilled

Thank you Olivier and Mithra for your donations to our Prize Box, and thank you Madeline for our new pencil sharpener! :)

Parent Survey for Academic Teams

Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Stathos will be making a presentation at the RESA STEM conference in March. The title of their talk is "Academic Teams as a Means of Enhancing School Climate."

This means, they need some data about parents' perceptions of our Academic Teams and how much of a role our Academic Teams played in their decision to send their child to FSA.

Please take this short survey:

Academic Teams Perception Survey -- Pre-K -- 2nd Grade Parents

Six Flags: Read to Succeed

If your child is in kindergarten through 6th grade, they are invited to participate in Six Flags' Read to Succeed Program! It is a fun incentive to get kids to read. Students need to record and log their reading over the next few months. If they submit a log with 6 hours of reading on it by Wednesday, February 24, 2016, they will receive one free ticket to Six Flags Over Georgia!
