A note on next year...

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we wrap up another school year I just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed teaching your students. I have seen them grow leaps and bounds this year and look forward to further improvements next year. Traditionally, students are rolled up to the next level of chorus (7th/8th Grade) unless otherwise indicated. Rising 9th graders have already completed scheduling. The longer a student stays in a music class, the more opportunities become available, and the more success they can have with their voice!

If your student does not wish to pursue chorus next year, they must request a withdrawal letter from me and bring it back signed and returned by May 8, otherwise they will be enrolled in the next year's chorus class. Receipt of the letter by me opens the doors of communication so I can see why a student does not want to continue and work it out with them and your family if possible. Thanks again for your support all year, and I look forward to seeing everyone in chorus next year!
