Let's record our voice

Now that we have our beats put together, we need to record our voice. First thing you need to do is to write out a script. Write out a script on how you would solve the following math problem.

Calculate the volume of the cylinder that has a radius of 6 cm and a height of 9 cm.

Once you have your script written you are ready to record. To record, make sure that the play head is at the start of your beats and click the red record button as seen on the right. Once you click the record button, it will give you about a 3 second pause before it starts with the beats and you can start talking to record your voice. When you are finished, you can click the record button again to stop the recording.

**Note: When you are NOT recording, you need to be quiet and courteous to your classmates so that your voice doesn't end up in your classmates podcast.

Create your very Own Podcast

All of the things you have learned such as adding loops, recording your own beats, and recording your voice all go together to create a Podcast. For your final GaragBand project, you will create a podcast over one of the following topics relating to one of your core content classes.

History - Explain the Constitutional Convention and why it was important. Things to include might be the year it happened, people who attended, any arguments from the convention.

Science - Explain the Phases of the Moon.

Math - Explain Pythagorean Theorem and how to solve to find the missing side of a right triangle.

This will be a major grade.
