Postponing Open House....

After much discussion, we have decided to postpone the Sept 1 Open House event until a time that we can do an event in-person. We recognize the video conference fatigue we are all experiencing and that is very much not the experience we seek to create through our annual open house event. Teachers and staff are available for you via email, phone call, and video conference. And, please... eat some tacos on Tuesday evening!

If you would like to co-host Community Time with Lydia, please sign up for one of the slots on Sign-Up Genius. There is space for two students + Lydia each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Morning. For right now, please only select one date. This is for ANY Grade and ANY Civano student!

Thank you to some very generous anonymous donators for covering the costs of the Take-Home kits in the Youngers’ Classroom. Because of you, these kiddos can get down to the hard work of playing with letters, numbers, shapes and words. We are so appreciative of your continued generosity!

Also, a huge thank you to those who donated to B.J. and Hope’s TPT Classroom Funds. TPT provides many valuable resources for purchase that have made distance teaching much easier.

Thank you to Chuck Voelker for making four beautiful benches for the school! We can’t wait to have kids help paint them and get them put out on campus!

RETURNING Student Registration....

Online registration for the upcoming school year is now available! This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. You will use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the PowerSchool Registration.


How do I get started?

Click HERE to get to the PowerSchool Parent Portal (also available on the PowerSchool mobile app). Once logged in to the Parent Portal:

  1. Select the student you wish to register along the top tabs.
  2. Select the PowerSchool Registration Student Registration Icon on the left side for the 2020-2021 school year.
  3. Agree to the terms and conditions.
  4. Click Begin Forms.


I can’t remember my login for the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If this is the first time you have ever logged into the PowerSchool Parent Portal please contact your school's front office to find out your user name and temporary password.

If you aren’t able to retrieve your login credentials using the “Having trouble signing in?” link on the Sign In page, please contact your school directly for assistance.


Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with "required" must be completed.


What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change prior to submitting the form, you can either navigate back to the page using the “< Prev” and “Next >” buttons or if you are on the Review page click on the underlined field. If you have already submitted the form you will need to contact your student’s school so they can make the changes for you.


I’ve completed the form, now what?
Once you have finished entering your information click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.


What if I have more than one student in the district? Do I need to do this for each child?
Yes, you will need to provide information that is specific to each child. Make sure to select each child from the top of your PowerSchool screen and then click on the PowerSchool Registration Student Registration link on the lower left hand side. We recommend that you complete and submit one form and then start another. This will allow you to snap (or share) selected family information, which saves you time.
