The Mustang Update

Substitutes Wanted!

The WPSD is looking for substitute teachers for the current school year. These individuals hold an integral part in the everyday running of school, because they allow the education of the students to continue when a vacancy occurs. All you need is a bachelor’s degree in any field and the willingness to be a part of an organization that puts students first. If you want to be a part of the WPSD that positively impacts the lives of our “Mustangs”, please contact ESS for more details.

Google Classroom/Schoology

As we move closer to the end of the first marking period, it is important for students and families to continue working on lessons and assignments while at home. The District staff will continue using Google Classroom/Schoology throughout the school year. These platforms allow students the opportunity to work on their education when they are not in school.

National School Lunch Program

The WPSD has been approved to provide free breakfast and lunches to all students. Even with meals being provided for free, it is imperative that families continue to complete the Free/Reduced Lunch Application. Not only does this application assist families when meals are not free, it helps the WPSD receive funding from the Federal Government for services that we provide our students.
