Weekly Wrap Up
Maple Place Middle School 9/23/2022
Principal's Message - Week 3
Dear Maple Place Families,
This week our students completed the Start Strong testing in both ELA and Mathematics, and grade 6 also completed Science. If your child was absent for any portion of the testing, make-ups will be held next week.
This week also brought us "Start with Hello" week. Students worked to increase inclusivity by saying hello to a few new people, wearing their grade level colors on Rainbow Day, and finishing up the week with "Feel Good Friday" by wearing something that made them feel good about themselves. A big shout out goes out to our School Counselor, Mrs. Bonett, for spearheading the week.
Additionally, at Wednesday's Board Meeting, the district recognized numerous Maple Place faculty members on earning tenure. Congratulations to Mrs. Billy, Mrs. Dunn, and Mrs. Spader, as well as Mrs. Malaney, our Director of Special Services! We are lucky to have you here with us at Maple Place!
Enjoy your weekend as we welcome the cooler fall weather!
