Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz.
I have always loved history and musicals so when the musical Hamilton came out I was very excited to see a production of it. I have not seen the musical Hamilton yet but I did just finish reading the book Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz. I highly recommend reading this account of the beginning of the relationship between Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler amid the Revolutionary War. Check out an article in Entertainment Weekly written about the book in 2017. Since then Melissa de la Cruz has written the last two books in the trilogy and I just started the second book Love and War and I am looking forward to reading the continuation of their relationship and the influence Alexander Hamilton played in our nation’s history.
