Warren County 4-H Camp Registration
Horse Camp, 4-H Day Camp, and County Camp are all happening this summer and they will look a little different than in prior years. Please note the major changes below before you register your campers online.
Major Changes for All 2021 4-H Camps
* Campers will be in their Family Group for ALL activities throughout camp. Family groups are the same as their cabin groups. There will be minimal interaction between family groups.
* Campers will not be permitted leave and return during camp. Once a camper is picked up, they cannot return.
* Masks will be worn by everyone. Exceptions will include: 1) in cabins, 2) while bathing or swimming, 3) while participating in water-related sports, 4) while participating in strenuous activities when 6 feet can be attained AND within their cohort, and 5) when seated and actively eating. Campers will need to bring clean masks to be worn each day and extras will be available as needed.
Registration for All Camps will open on May 10 at 8am and can be found here: https://warren.osu.edu/program-areas/4-h-youth-development/4-h-camp-program
Fair Entries
Livestock & Horse Interviews
If you need to sign up for the alternate interview date, please stop by or call the Extension Office at 513-695-1311.
Horse & Dog 4-H Online Registration
Horses must include a copy of coggins and vaccination receipt/records with uploaded pictures of your horse. 4-H Online has changed the upload option sections since I created the help sheets so it does not matter what section you upload coggins/vaccination to as long as they are attached.
Dogs must include a copy of vaccination record with pictures of your dog.
Help sheets to complete these can be found at warren.osu.edu/animalpaperwork.

Warren County Judging Team
Last call to participate in the 2021 judging team! The first practice for the Warren County 4-H Livestock Judging team will be held this Thursday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the Extension Office. Meetings will be held on Thursday evenings in May, June and a few dates in July. Here’s a quick overview about the program.
About the Program
The Warren County 4-H Livestock Judging Program is respected throughout the state. Our teams have won state competitions and have competed well at national contests. We expect to place highly when we go to contests. The Ohio State Fair contest is our priority. Top placing senior teams at the Ohio State Fair are selected to represent Ohio 4-H at National livestock judging contests. Past Warren County 4-H teams have represented Ohio 4-H at contests in Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. In 2011, a team of Warren County 4-Hers finished tenth at the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville. In the past three years, Warren County has had three team members make the Ohio 4-H All Star Judging Team that represents Ohio 4-H at the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest in Louisville, KY.
Eligibility
Open to any Warren County 4-H member. The teams are divided into divisions by 4-H age. Seniors are 14 years and older and juniors are 13 years and younger. Experience with livestock and livestock judging is not required to participate in this program. We will teach you what you need to know to compete in livestock judging contests.
