Learn more about our new Transitional Kindergarten program
Stanwood-Camano School District is launching a free program in January aimed at helping children prepare for kindergarten. All students are able to apply, and will receive consideration for the program.
The Inclusionary Transitional Kindergarten (ITK) program will start January 31 at Twin City and Utsalady elementary schools. Our goal is to provide families with the opportunity to ensure their students begin their school careers ready for kindergarten. This program will provide an equitable start for students by offering a high-quality early learning experience before they enter the traditional kindergarten classroom.
