A Message from Dr. Lowry
Timberwolf Family,
Happy Halloween and tomorrow we welcome in November! What a great time of year as we see the weather provide some beauty and we focus on gratitude and thankfulness. Please see our announcement below about submitting Staff Shout-outs. This is a great way to show your appreciation for our amazing Timberwolf Staff.
Additionally, this week, we are entering the final 4 days of the 2nd six weeks grading period. Friday is a student holiday, and I am sure a much-needed break. As we enter this week of instruction, please make sure your child is staying engaged and completing all work. If you have any questions about grades, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teachers this week.
Lastly, if you have an 8th grade student, please make sure you read the message below from our 8th grade counselor, Ms. Waddell. She has done an outstanding job at WCJH and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
Have a great week and GO TIMBERWOLVES!

Although I am excited to pursue a new professional venture, I will deeply miss this school, students, and wonderful families. Woodcreek is truly a special place, and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to serve you all.
Warmly,

Car Rider Pick-Up Safety
After meeting with the City of Katy this week, a few changes are expected soon.
- WoodCreek Bend Lane will become one long school zone from Kingsland to Katy Flewellen. This is being done in order to control the traffic bottleneck at Morgan Pkwy/Rustic Woods Lane and improving the traffic along WoodCreek Bend Lane. Ramps for pedestrian access will also be installed. Until this is completed, we will have a KISD officer assisting with traffic flow at this intersection.
- The city plans to install "No Parking or Stopping during School Zone Times" along WoodCreek Bend Land from Katy Flewellen west to the driveway entrance for Wood Creek Junior High. This is being done to prevent students from crossing our pick-up line traffic and entering vehicles parking on the street.
