- The 28th Annual Webster Groves Holiday House Tour, sponsored by Hixson PTO, will take place on Sunday, December 8th from 11am to 4pm. This is the biggest fundraising event of the year and it takes many volunteers to make it successful! We have 6 beautiful homes and a holiday boutique that are opening their doors and we need LOTS of volunteers to work the event! The event time is 11am-4pm, and we have it split into 2 shifts. - Save the Date for the Winter Mixer on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6:30-8:00pm! The theme will be Snow Ball. There will be a DJ, open gym, and snacks available for purchase. No cost to attend with suggested $5+ donation for Webster Rock Hill Ministries.
Parents-If you and/or your spouse were active duty military, employed by the federal government or otherwise worked on federal property on 9/25/2019, we need your help! Additional federal funding is available to school districts when at least 3% of the student population is from homes with parents/guardians employed by the federal government or working on federal property. Please see the attachments below for more information!

In science, students wrapped up their work on the “Bullseye” Launcher projects. Our tournament begins on Friday to find out who has earned the bragging rights for the most consistent and high scoring launcher! Good luck to all students.
The unit test for forces and motion will occur towards the end of next week.
Social Studies- Dr. Rachal
ELA- Mr. Gasparovic
In Mr. Gasparovic’s class, students submitted their final drafts for their Personal Writing. After their final drafts were submitted, students wrote a reflective essay regarding their growth as a writer during the past month. The end of the week saw class focus turn towards Historical Fiction Book Clubs as students were able to sample and rate the options available in class.
