ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Make sure your student is here on time each day to help the class earn the highest attendance percentage each week. Our goal is to have a weekly average of 97% students present...We CAN Do It!

When we reduce chronic absence we improve graduation rates, increase academic achievement and give young people the best chance at success in their adult life. Help your student, help your family.....#BeCougarPresent

When a child returns to campus please send a doctor note or parent note to excuse the absence. We miss our students when they are not here and we worry about their health. Please let your teacher know if there is anything your child needs while absent.

TECHNOLOGY ON CAMPUS

Elementary Student Supplementary Handbook: Crosby ISD believes technology is a powerful tool that enhances learning and enables students to access a vast amount of academic resources. The District's goal is to increase student access to digital tools and facilitate immediate access to technology-based information, much the way that students utilize pen and paper. All students, PreK-5th grade, are required to bring their district issued IPAD to school fully charged with the charger every day to school. Students using district issued telecommunication devices must follow the guidelines stated in the handbook while on school property, attending any school-sponsored activity, or using the Crosby ISD network. Students at the elementary level are not allowed to use personal devices at school. These electronics include but are not limited to: cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, games and the like. If a student brings a personal device to school, it must be turned off and remain in their backpack. Any personal electronics used at school will be taken up and must be retrieved by a parent.
