She's My Yin
Dark and light, yin and yang. Two people and one boat. The first in sweat pants and a short sleeve T-shirt, the other an ankle-high white dress. One an anchor and one a sail. Together they keep the boat up through storms and sun, rain and wind. The first keeps up a wall around herself to keep out the cold. The second looks through a window in the other’s wall. Over time the two begin to rely on each other; they become friends. Over the years they both change. The first now wears jeans and a hoodie, the other a knee-high dress the color of blush. Dark and light, yin and yang. Two people and one boat. It’s time to let the window people in.
