Thank you to all students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff for your contributions to a great start to the 2015-16 school year!


Enjoy your Monday holiday! While students have a day off, the Lee staff will reviewing and planning effective teaching strategies for the rest of the semester and beyond.

Check Backpacks for Report Cards and Picture Information

Students received reports cards during their 2nd period classes on Friday, October 9. They also received picture information from their social studies or history teachers. Please ask your students to retrieve those items from their backpacks.

Lee's PTO Needs Volunteers

Lee's PTO graciously provides luncheons for our staff on several occasions throughout the year. Please consider helping with teacher and staff luncheons. See the Volunteer Spot sign-up information below:

Socktober

Please bring in your sock donations. Our teen leadership classes are sponsoring the Socktober event to help people in our community who need socks.

Pink Out Rally: Tuesday, October 13

Wear pink to support breast cancer awareness!

Eat at Rosa's on Thursday, 10/15. Support the Mighty Rebel Band!

Picture Day: Friday, October 16

All students will have their fall pictures taken. These are the pictures that are in the yearbook. Remember to wear appropriate clothing and a great smile on picture day!

Glow-in-the-Dark Dance

Friday, October 23

5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m.

Lee Cafeteria


Our first dance for this year will be hosted by Student Council in the cafeteria.


  • Tickets: $4 on sale during lunches starting October 19.
  • No tickets sold at the door
  • Students with good behavior may purchase tickets; students who have had ISS, Carver, or other serious disciplinary assignments will not be able to attend this dance.

The PTO is selling rally towels as a fundraiser this year. Proceeds will be used for club supplies. Inquire at the front office.

Search, Snip, and Submit: Box Tops


Students and Staff – Thank you for bringing in 2,303 Box Tops for the Fall collection!! Lee will receive a check for $230.30 for all the Box Tops you brought to school. Thank you!


Keep collecting and bringing Box Tops to school because there will be another time to submit Box Tops after Christmas. We would love to double what we collected this Fall and make our check $500 so keep collecting and bringing them to school.


Parents and teachers can also sign up at www.btfe.com to earn our school earns extra box top points. Proceeds go to student activities.

Wear your favorite college shirt on Wednesdays. We want to encourage our students to be college-minded.
