FY 24 Budget Information
Tuesday, March 28th at 6pm the PRSD School Committee will be meeting at the Middle High School and will be discussing the budget. At this meeting, one topic that the School Committee will discuss are the possible areas that they would identify as areas to cut if the budget fails. There have been multiple public meetings regarding the FY24 Budget and links to videos from those meetings and more information can be found on the district website and the budget website both linked here.
Pentucket Regional School District Parent/Guardian Perception Survey
The purpose of this survey is to understand how parents feel about their experiences with the Pentucket Regional School District and all the schools within the district. If you have children in different schools, please fill out one for each school where you have a child. This survey will be active through March 24th.
March Traffic Shift Expected to Continue
Beginning March 6th driveway construction will require us to adjust the traffic pattern at school during the hours of 8am to 1:30pm. Before and after those times the driveway will function the way it has all year. After 8am the driveway will be closed and all traffic entering and exiting campus will do so at the Farm Lane side entrance/exit (see the picture of campus). At the end of the school day the driveway will be re-opened for dismissal and will stay open until 8am the following day.
Take a look at this screencast link if you would like to hear a description of this change.
We would like to thank Anna Smulowitz and the actors who brought Terezin to Pentucket this past week. It was an amazing show and made a significant impact on our staff and students. Thank you as well to the Pentucket Arts Foundation and Pentucket Education Foundation for their financial support that made this possible. To learn more about the performance visit Terezin.org

MIDDLE SCHOOL COUNSELING UPDATE
The middle school counselors will be facilitating a classroom lesson on stress management to all 7th graders on Tuesday, 3/21 (7 Claws) and Monday, 3/27 (7 Cubs). The concept of time management will also be tied into the lesson, as oftentimes struggles in this area can exacerbate feelings of stress. By the end of the lesson, students will know tips and tricks to manage their time effectively, as well as have an individualized "toolbox" with coping strategies and ideas for self-care to help with emotional regulation.
Please check the Middle School Student Services Resources webpage regularly for updates and helpful information. We look forward to sharing relevant and useful information with you throughout the school year to support you and our students!
