How Do I Join the PTO?
To join the CWE PTO, you will need to purchase your membership on the Membership Toolkit website (https://cwepto.membershiptoolkit.com/).
The CWE PTO uses Membership Toolkit for all PTO supported activities. Monthly newsletters and other PTO communication will be sent through your Membership Toolkit account. You will also purchase school yearbooks and event tickets through Membership Toolkit. Volunteer sign ups are located on the website as well. The website and app are both easy to use and allow you to set your preferences for notifications, as well as the specific contact information you wish to share with other families.
To Join the PTO:
In order to become a member of the PTO for the 2022-23 school year, you must either create a Membership Toolkit Account or log-in to your existing account. Beginning in mid July 2022, you will be able to login to Membership Toolkit and sign your family up for a PTO membership.
If you are new to Membership Toolkit:
- Go to cwepto.membershiptoolkit.com.
- Click on the Register/Login button.
- Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
- Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
- Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.
Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.
Now that your account is set up, go to the "Purchase Items" section on your homepage to purchase your PTO membership. Once your membership is purchased click back to your home page and then you will have the option to buy discounted yearbook(s).

Who will my child's teacher be this year???
We are diligently working on class list this summer and are excited to share this information with you as soon as we can.
Our Admin team will be posting student placement on Wednesday, August 3rd by 5pm. Lists will be on the carpool door window for all to view.
Your child's teacher will also call to welcome you to Cogburn on Thursday Aug 4th before 5pm. Be sure to look out for the call. If you miss the call they will leave a message. Please do not call the school to speak to your teacher because the front office will have not have this information.
Please note: Class placements are based on multiple factors and class changes will not be made or considered until after the first 10 days of school.
Welcome Back Cogburn families
Hello Cougars,
I am very excited for the new school year and to see everyone at Open House on Friday, August 5 from 8-10 am only. If you can not attend, please let your teacher know when they call you on Thursday, August 4th. Arrangements can not be made to meet earlier or after open house as our teachers are in staff meetings and trainings that week.
Everyone will enter through the cafeteria doors where you will find information on everything you will need for the school year. This information includes transportation, after school activities, the cafeteria and meeting your teachers. Parking is a tight so please make sure you plan accordingly.
More information about procedures, safety, and other updates will be shared by me the week before open house.
