ACTE AZ Virtual Summer Conference Sessions

The Association for Career Technical Education of Arizona and the Arizona Department of Education invites you to participate in our Virtual Arizona Career and Technical Education Summer Conference "Maintaining Balance and Moving Forward," July 19-22, 2021. This conference is open to Administrators, Counselors, Teachers and Industry Partners. A draft Agenda will be set up on the website as sessions become confirmed. Monday July 19th: ACOVA Mini M & M

10:00 am-10:45 am

New and "kind of new" CTE Directors join ACOVA to learn about the tasks every director needs to be complete in the last few months of school. This is a continuation of Camp M & M that has been presented throughout the year. If you have been to all Camp M & M sessions or none of them, you are welcome to attend. New information will be provided.


Tuesday July 20th: ACOVA Critical Issues

10:00 am-10:45 am

Join the ACOVA Board as they help identify the critical issues that can be barriers to success in your school district. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to discuss the challenges facing their district and will be able to learn how others overcome these challenges. The ACOVA Board will take note of all critical issues and create an advocacy agenda.


Tuesday July 20th: ACOVA Business Meeting

11:00 am-11:45 am

The ACOVA Business Meeting is intended for all CTE administrators and leaders. Updates will be given regarding summer conference offerings, upcoming summer executive committee elections, ACOVA reports, and an overview of CTE critical issues.


Wednesday July 21st: ACOVA Q&A for CTE Directors

1:00 am-1:45 pm

A question and answer session for new CTE Directors to ask questions to the ACOVA Board.

PREMIER SERIES SUMMER SESSIONS- July 2021

The Arizona Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTEAZ) is offering the remaining slate of Summer Premier Series classes in July.


  • Instructional Best Practices – July 26 & 27, 2021 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (online)
  • CTE Program Management – July 27, 2021 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (online)
