William Shakespeare’s Life and Times.

William Shakespeare was born in 1564. His parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. He had 7 siblings in his family and they lived in town of Stratford. His father was an official of that town. Shakespeare was a great writer as well as an actor who influenced on people's world understanding. Here some curious facts about him: A 15th century clay pipe was found near the garden of Shakespeare. In it were traces of cocaine, and marijuana. Shakespeare invented and coined hundreds of words and phrases like «swagger» or «fashionable». Shakespeare currently has 946 writing credits for TV and films. Shakespeare is buried in the chancel of Holy Trinity Church in his hometown of Stratford.

Shakespeare’s Work.

We do know that Shakespeare had began his career on the stage by 1592. It is probable that Shakespeare played the title role in «Edward I» in 1593. It is also assumed that he played smaller roles in a variety of his own plays. The closure of the theatres during 1593 and 1594 due to plague led Shakespeare to try his hand at writing poetry. ‘Venus and Adonis’ and ‘The Rape of Lucrece’ are Shakespeare’s first poems. In 1609, Shakespeare came up with his work titled, ‘Sonnets’. The most famous Shakespeare's writing is "Hamlet".

The Plot of the "Hamlet".

Near the castle in Elsinore, Denmark; soldiers saw a ghost that looked like king who died. Prince Hamlet, who is son of that king decides to meet the ghost. Prince Hamlet was very shocked when he heard from the ghost that ghost’s (King’d Hamlet) brother killed him and now wants to take power. Father wants his son to revenge. Prince wants others to think that he is mentally disabled. King’s brother who is king now understands that prince has some goal and he is not actiouly disabled. Claudius (brother of king Hamlet and an uncle of prince Hamlet) sends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern who were prince’s friends and had to find out what is on Hamlet’s mind. Hamlet didn’t tell them anything because he understood why they came. After Hamlet meets his mother who married Claudius right after king’s death, Hamlet complains about it. Later Hamlet was sent to England to be killed but he escapes back to Danmark. Hamlet dies from his uncle’s poison and kills Claudius before that.
