Principal's Greeting

Hello Camp Road Families!

A few thoughts:

  1. Join me in celebrating Sumter Wilson, who runs Varsity Track with the JICHS team and will receive a varsity letter after a qualifying run last Saturday. He was chosen as the JICHS Runner of the Week last week.
  2. Congratulations to the following CRMS students who have been cast in the fall musical production of Bye Bye Birdie! Karsyn Boyd, Thomas Burgess, Asher Bryan, Zoey Cawthorne, Benjamin Faust, Joanna Foster, Savannah Fralix, Lorelei Hoen, Molly Janech, John Kimbrell, Allison Moorer, Madeline Nelson, Caroline Osboorne, Lyla Parkman, Ava Post, Gavin Ramos, Harper Rhodes, Rosie Sandin, Piper Sokol, and Logan Tomlins. Show dates will be November 18-20 at JICHS.
  3. Make sure you become a PTO member by tomorrow to be eligible for the gift card drawing. More information in the PTO section.
  4. This week I will talk to our CRMS students about putting together a Student Council. I will invite each homeroom to elect a representative to be on their grade level student council. I look forward to meeting with each grade level student council monthly to talk about how we can make Camp Road a better place for all students to learn!

Bullying Prevention

Parents: Consider sharing your thoughts and feelings around bullying with your child. Find out where you and your child agree and disagree on the topic.

Cyberbullying is a very real issue for many teens. Here is an article on identifying, preventing, and responding to cyberbullying that you may find helpful. Cyberbullying: Identification, Prevention, and Response

School Technology Information You Need to Know...

Students should NOT bring their Chromebook chargers to school. Please charge devices at home each evening. Chargers tend to disappear at school, and we have no way to track them. Students will be responsible for the cost of replacing lost chargers, so please don’t let your student bring the charger to school!

A reminder about the CCSD fee structure for damages and loss of chromebooks:

  • Negligent/Accidental Breakage - No charge for first incident per school year $50 per incident for each subsequent event
  • Intentional Vandalism - $300.
  • Stolen Device - No cost if a police report is provided
  • Lost Device - $300
  • Lost Charger - $40
