The Things We Love About Spring
This week, in celebration of the arrival of spring, students thought about the things they love about spring. Enjoy our video we created with the help of Mrs. Milnamow, our Digital Learning Coach!
Some of Our Favorite Stories
Students enjoyed sharing some of their favorite books with their classmates. After reading their books and looking at the pictures, students turned and talked and shared three reasons why their books is their favorite story. Then students wrote their opinions and illustrated their ideas. Students partner read their opinion pieces with one another. Thanks for helping your child to be prepared for this exciting learning activity! This week, on Tuesday, students are encouraged to bring in their favorite small toy for our opinion writing lessons.
