Screencastify
Want to create a quick screencast to post on your website? Want to show students how to do something online instead of just telling them? Google Chrome has an great extension for that: Screencastify. You can record with our without audio, and you can record up to ten minutes for free. It would be great to show students or parents how to find something on your website, like this. (Click to enlarge the photos below.)
Here's what you see when you click the Screencastify button to start recording.
You can upload to Google Drive, like this. Then, you can easily share that link out or post it on your website.
Or, you can upload to your Adams 12 You Tube channel. Just make sure your video is public so students can view it. If it's not public, the filter will block it.
Click below to download Screencastify. The cool thing is this works on both computers and the Chromebooks. Students can even add Screencastify to their Google Chrome login to create screencasts of their own! Want to learn more about Screencastify?
Add that video to your Google Site!
