IPad Apps to Change the Classroom
Grammar Up
This app contains a fun and interactive way to learn how to use proper grammar. It contains a series of tests divided up by specific categories, such as conjunctions, prepositions, adjectives, and others.
For the student: Instead of taking a traditional grammar test, the student can interact with the app in an engaging way and see their score instantly.
For the teacher: If the teacher desires to see the students' grades, they can email their scores to an email address that the teacher provides. By doing this, the teacher can see where their students are still struggling and what they have mastered.

Skitch
Although this app isn't specifically designed for a think-aloud strategy, it would be a great addition to practicing this strategy in the classroom. This app allows you to mark up documents in real time and if your IPad is connected via Apple TV, the students can read through the document, see what you're marking, and mark it up themselves.
For students: Integrating technology into lessons helps further engage students and helps with retention rate. By interacting with the text, the students can better decipher a text and understand it better.
For teachers: Besides saving paper, the students can better see what you're marking up and you have more options of how you'd like to mark up the text, such as changing colors or adding images.
