Diamond View Middle School

Mrs. Heimbigner, Principal

Welcome Panthers

Dear Parents, Families, and Students,

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those new to our DV Family and welcome our returning students back to Diamond View Middle School. My name is Dede Heimbigner, and I have been a classroom teacher for over nineteen years, and I am now starting my fourth year as the principal of Diamond View School. I am a fourth-generation Lassen County native who once was and is still, at heart, a DV Panther, and I am also a Lassen High and the University of Nevada Alumni. So you will always find me cheering for the DV Panthers, LHS Grizzlies, and Nevada Wolf Pack!!

Middle school is a challenging and essential time in an adolescent's life. I remember my time at Diamond View being full of ups and downs. However, knowing I had a team of teachers, support staff, and administrators that went above and beyond to help me become my personal best and strive for academic excellence made all the difference.

We look forward to continuing the momentum we felt towards the end of last year and building on it this school year. We will continue to offer complimentary breakfast and lunch service, Back to School Night, PE, and Sports. We are also excited to offer more opportunities for students to explore CTE pathways.

The high academic expectations that Diamond View students have become accustomed to and the positive culture of the campus continues to be a top priority for Diamond View. The best outcomes are possible when parents and school staff work together to combine their expertise, knowledge, and love for our students. Would you please stop in and introduce yourself? If you would like to make an appointment to meet with me, you can call the school office or email me directly to set up an appointment.

I look forward to meeting and working with you.
