From the Desk of Ms. Clark
November 22, 2017
As we gather with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to extend a message of gratitude to you for the investment that you make in order for your children to attend our school and receive a Catholic education. On behalf of Father Mike, Monsignor Marine, and our entire SKD Faculty and Staff, I hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Please be assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers with deep gratitude.
Here is a simple way to celebrate Thanksgiving:
· Count your blessings instead of your crosses.
· Count your gains instead of your losses.
· Count your joys instead of your woes.
· Count your friends instead of your foes.
· Count your smiles instead of your tears.
· Count your courage instead of your fears.
· Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
· Count your health instead of your wealth.
· Count on God instead of yourself!
My newsletter will resume on November 30th! May God continue to bless you abundantly!
Thank you to all of the families who have sent in their re-registration for the 2017-2018 school year. Please know that we are working hard for your families and for the future of St. Katharine Drexel School - your cooperation and support does not go unnoticed! We will pick the winners for the VIP seats to Carol Night and Passion Play when we return from Thanksgiving break!
