Bakersfield Battle for Minarets Cheer
The Minarets Competition Cheer Team has had a busy season with three competitions already completed. The first was in Santa Cruz by the boardwalk, then Clovis North and, mostly recently, Bakersfield at the Convention Center on December 7, 2019.
The Minarets Boys Soccer team had their most recent home game Dec. 10 against Riverdale High School.
Kickin' It: Girls Soccer
On December 10, the Minarets Mustangs girls soccer team went against the Riverdale’s Cowboys. The JV game started at 3:30 p.m. and the Varsity game was at 7:00 p.m.
Nothing but Net: Boys Basketball
Boys Basketball traveled up to Mariposa for their fifth game of the year against the Grizzlies. While off to a slow start, the Boys Basketball record was 2-2 going into Mariposa- and sadly they came home in defeat.
Clubs
Not many people know what it takes to create the production of a play, but there are many things involved in making a production great such as acting, props, actors, costumes, makeup, sound, and lighting.
