The Picture Above

The picture above is the logo for the CCC! As you can see the logo has nature in the middle. This represents what they do. This one logo represents the main idea of the CCC.

The Definition

The CCC was a public works relief program that was from 1933 to 1942 on the United States for the unemployed, unmarried men from relief families as part of the New Deal. This is for men 18 to 23 years old. Later it evolved onto men 17 to 28 years old.

What it Helped

It helped the environment! The program CCC built parks, planted trees, ect. This made men get active and let him get out of the house. At least they are doing something for nature.

Fun Fact

Nearly three million men were part of the CCC!

The 2nd Picture

This is a actual photo of the CCC. This shows four MEN on a side of a mountain. The reason I capitalized men is because only men did the manly labor. Some of the jobs were more safe than others. I certainly wouldn't want to be on a side of a mountain. >.<
