Welcome to our newest staff member - Health teacher Ms. Orlowski!
My name is Cariah Orlowski. I came here from Cullowhee, NC but I am originally from Jacksonville, NC. I received my bachelor's degree in K-12 Health & Physical Education from Western Carolina University.I have 4 crazy younger brothers whom I love dearly and a cat whose name is Aeres (his name suits him well). My favorite sport to watch is hockey (Go Lightning!) and my favorite sport to play is Ultimate Frisbee. I have been playing Ultimate for 6 years now and I hope to someday play professionally! Some other favorite teams of mine include the Steelers and Yankees. I am a HUGE nerd. My favorite superhero is the Flash; I wish I could be the fastest person alive. I LOVE teaching Health because it covers so many topics (such as communication, social skills, nutrition, basic anatomy, and more) that students do not get to learn about in other core subjects. My goal is to make this subject fun and enjoyable for all my students as well as making them more aware of and exposed to any issues and progress in Health!
