BRAVO RECHS Drama Club
We hope you enjoyed the RECHS Drama Club performance this week of Sherlock Holmes and the 1st Baker Street Irregular. Our student-directed and produced play was a hit. Congratulations to our students and to Mrs. Mroczkowski!
Senior Apparel
Seniors, this week will be the last week to purchase senior apparel. Sales will end on November 22. Please see Mrs. Fleetwood or Mrs Williams for an order form and to pay.
Math I Check-Ins
Students enrolled in Math I will have their second NC Check-in on November 18th and 19th.
Student of the Month
The celebration for the students who received the Student of the Month recognition for the fall semester will be Tuesday, November 19th at 6:00 pm in the LRC followed by refreshments in the Cafe.
SWRMS Informational Session
Our last information session for prospective students will be Tuesday, November 19th at 6:00 pm at SWRMS. The RECHS application for current 8th grade students will be available on Friday, November 22nd.
Holiday Closures
Please remember, RECHS and RCC will be closed November 27-29. Classes will resume on December 2nd.
Mark Your Calendars
- Last day of classes for RCC is December 16
- Students enrolled in high school classes need to be prepared to stay 9:00 am-4:00 pm on December 17th through 19th as we will have altered schedules on those days. Specifics of the exam schedule will be shared at a later date.
Credit By Demonstrated Mastery
If students are interested in Credit By Demonstrated Mastery for a course, please see Ms. Blackmon. The deadline for spring applications is February 3, 2020. The link to all information on the RCSS website is here.
Mt. Shepherd Retreat Center needs volunteers!
If you are interested in completing community service hours at Mt. Shepherd Retreat Center please email the Camp Director, Rev. Josh Britton at josh@mtshepherd.org. They are looking for students who can help with food service, programs for guests, housekeeping, landscaping and office work. Students can work after school on the weekdays or weekend opportunities are available as well.

The Volunteer Center of Randolph County serves over 40 agencies in our county. All of the agencies are in search of volunteers. Students, if you are interested, please find more information on our Student Services site which is linked on our school webpage.

Students and parents can buy a yearbook for $45. You can buy one from the main office or online using this link.
